sum up of the vacation!

ok so i am back home now...tired but so worth it between: the canyons, seeing the mountains and the drive up one (made it to 9000ft when it was actually 11000ft), spectacular views outside the hotel windows, beaches(even though i think Bermuda's are better), being known as the honeymooners with free bottles of champagne, one lane highways at 35 m/hr, roads with no guard rails that just drop off along with crosses on the top of the cliffs(that was reassuring), best banana bread ever and along with the best hawaiian ice-cream, waterfalls, seeings certain locations where movies were filmed, lauou(sp?)...hula girls, mai tais, poo poos(appetizers) and pee pees(meat dishes)...just sounds funny together, main street, sunsets, 21st birthday, whale watching tour along with dolphins, water rafting boat and trip to Lanai(private island off of Maui), champgne/booze cruise and other boat tours, car tour along with traveling on the road to Hana, no seat assignment flights between islands...all seat your-self, helicopter ride, restaurants, shopping, sunburns and just sun in general, swimming and just relaxing by the pool, sexual comments from my father which was totally embarrassing in public, and of course to top it all off-going to see The 40 year old virgin with the whole family! it was funny, you should all go and see it...maybe not with your parents though...lol.

We had alot of fun and it was good to finish up our last vacation on a good note! and my parents surprised us since it was our last family vacation together and got us all first class tickets...was so awesome and nice since our plane from atlanta to hawaii was 9 hours.

I was ready to kill my sister at times on the trip though...every time we sat down for something to eat or were in the car driving, something about the wedding came up...she got the 2 of the bridesmaids dresses shipped to maui so she could see what they looked like and so she could have them in bermuda for appts and crap! luckily i had my birthday because we got 1 day of saving grace since when she started to talk about it my mom told her to stop since it was my birthday and we didnt want to hear it...but the next day it went right back to how it was...its getting so ridiculous, I am starting to block it out (thats kinda bad, huh?) and since i am the maid of honor i have to plan the bridal shower...which has to be in dc...that is going to be insane since i have never organized one before...well ill just have to talk to the other brides maids especially the ones that still live in dc and see if they have any ideas that can help me out. and she wants it sometime in Feb or march which is going to be a pain in the ass. i will have to fly out there and back in a weekend, since we dont really have any long weekends in that time period i dont think...we will see. well enough said on that!

had my 21st on Wednesday which was awesome...went on the boat cruise(not really what we expected, but i still got alcohol which was definitely on the list for the night), three glasses of champagne later i could barely put my shoes on since we had to take our shoes off to get on the boat...and of course meredith got the munches so the tipsy me came out a bit...it was all good though cuz my sister was tipsy as well. then we went out to dinner and i got more drinks...but since i was eating at the same time, it calmed down the results of the alcohol a bit, and some guy heard it was my 21st and bought me a lei and then just left...lol(dont know who he was, but it was still nice)....i had a really good time and i will never forget it!

well, well thats pretty much a sum up of all the stuff that went on during my vacation...back to the real world now and hope everyone is doing well! only 2 more weeks. talk to everyone later.
